<p>Elim Housing provides services to around 800 individuals and families and we are actively building new homes and developing new initiatives. Providing Supported Housing for over 25 years and Floating Support since 2003, we are currently recruiting a Supported Housing Officer.</p>
<p>The role will involve working with clients at four of the Association&rsquo;s supported housing projects and a general needs development in the Gloucester area. The projects offer services to a variety of clients who have both housing and support needs.</p>
<p>The successful candidate will deliver a wide range of housing management and high quality personalised support to all clients that will enable them to move on to permanent accommodation. This will include accessing specialist services, education, training and employment opportunities. The post holder will be provided with training on psychologically informed interventions and reflective practice as part of our investment in our support services.</p>
<p>You will have a background working in housing or a support related environment and will be able to perform effectively as part of a team working with people who have housing and support needs.</p>

Providing Supported Housing for over 25 years and Floating Support since 2003, following an organisational review we have the following opportunity in our Support Services.</p>
<p>The successful candidate will be primarily based at Taylor House, where they will manage a 30 unit supported housing scheme for a range of client groups including; care leavers, single homeless, couples, pregnant women and single parents. The Team Leader will also manage two other housing related support services in Gloucester; an 11 unit self contained scheme for people moving on from Taylor House and a visiting support and housing management service to 8 young parents and their families housed in Elim accommodation.</p>
<p>The Team Leader will have responsibility for the operational management of the support services, including; ensuring high quality personalised support is provided, line management of three Supported Housing Officers and an Estate Officer, directly supporting a small caseload of clients, housing management, budget control and service development.</p>
<p>The successful candidate will have experience of working with a range of client groups, and strong housing management skills. A full driving licence and own transport is essential.</p>
<p>As part of our investment in our support services, you will be provided with training on psychologically informed interventions and reflective practice.</p>

The service will soon be responsible for the delivery of Whitworth Care and Support services, including a residential care home, day care centre, Luncheon Club and Meals on Wheels Services.</p>

<p>This key role will be responsible for the operational management of our Whitworth Care and Support services and staff team to ensure the effective delivery and development of high quality services to primarily older people, and other vulnerable customers, whilst meeting the requirements of the Care Quality Commission.&nbsp;&nbsp; The role requires services to be continually developed in line with customer and business requirements.</p>
<p>We are looking for a dedicated individual who is an excellent team player and is passionate about working in partnership with customers to shape and improve services. A confident multi-tasker who is effective at planning and prioritising to ensure that targets are achieved, and a strong desire to help us develop our services to take us to the next level would be the ideal candidate.</p>

<p>We are currently recruiting for a <span class="highlight">Head</span> <span class="highlight">of</span> <span class="highlight">Care</span> at our St Oswalds Village in Gloucester. Working alongside the Village Manager, you will be responsible for managing the <span class="highlight">care</span> and support that residents are receiving, as well as developing individual <span class="highlight">care</span> plans to ensure optimum levels <span class="highlight">of</span> independence are achieved through resident participation in the village.</p>
<p>There are currently 40 <span class="highlight">care</span> packages within our village where over 200 people reside. <p>You will be required to take the lead in the management <span class="highlight">of</span> <span class="highlight">care</span> and support services, as well as the supervision <span class="highlight">of</span> all <span class="highlight">care</span> staff and will also assist the Village Manager in developing and providing ongoing training programmes to staff.</p>
<p>As part <span class="highlight">of</span> this role, you will be required to implement staff rotas and recruitment and selection, as well as attend meetings centered around the evaluation <span class="highlight">of</span> the services being provided to residents and their families. You will be highly motivated with a can-do attitude and you will thrive in a stimulating, team based culture and non-hierarchical environment, where every day presents new challenges. You will be an excellent communicator who leads by example, inspiring others to push beyond the boundaries <span class="highlight">of</span> standard practice.</p>
<p>To succeed in this role, you will need a proven track record in social <span class="highlight">care</span> management, possess skills and expertise relating to funding and inspection protocols and be able to achieve and maintain best practice standards in social <span class="highlight">care</span>. <p>Our client is looking for individuals that hold a current Gas Safe registration and the appropriate certifications and qualifications for completing heating installs such as: ASC code CCN1, CEN1, HTR1, WAT1, CKR1, CPA1, MET1.&nbsp; They are interested in hearing from you if you are currently working in a housing / building environment and have extensive experience of gas heating and boiler installations.&nbsp; You will also need knowledge of Gas Safety Regulations 1998 and H&amp;S and asbestos legislation and in addition a solid working knowledge of Good knowledge and understanding of the Electricity at Work Regulations, current edition of BS 7671, Part P and the Codes of practice and guidance documents relevant to the range of electrical work undertaken.</p>
